Production Process :

  • Fuel is burned under specific conditions controlled by PLC control panel
  • Post the scrubbing of water /soda in DCC tower/SO2 removal tower, the flue gas is absorbed in the monoethanolamine based solution present in absorber tower and then into the stripper tower which is subsequently heated by the combustion process to release the raw CO2 gas
  • The carbon dioxide is fed into the PTK, a purification train that comprises two KmNO4 towers
  • After passing through activated carbon filter, it is fed into two stage vertical or horizontal compressor and finally into the high pressure pre-cooler and then into the dryer
  • From there, it moves towards the liquefaction system in which screw compressor and R 404A is used as a refrigerant
  • Finally pure and liquefied carbon dioxide produced is fed into a bulk storage tank
